Gen 21:15-16 When the water was gone, she put the boy in the shade of a bush. Then she went and sat down by herself about a hundred yards away. “I don’t want to watch the boy die,” she said, as she burst into tears.
Sometimes in our lives things get really hard and in the natural we get convinced that this is the end of it . But God works in a different way . When Hagar had wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of Beersheba she got to a point where she told herself this is it for me and my son. She told herself she couldn’t watch her boy die and decided to lay him in a bush and she moved away. An angel of the Lord appeared to them with the message that she had to comfort him, for God was going to make a great nation from his descendants.
Nomatter how painful things may get , and nomatter how silent God may seem, He is still there. He is still in charge and He is still sitting on the throne. He is still working, even though we can’t see or feel it. He neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is seeing it all. Before you know it , He will turn the situation around ; changing your test into testimony. He is a faithful God.
